USDA’s Infant Nutrition and Feeding: A Guide for Use in the WIC and CSF Programs, is a reference handbook for staff of the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) and Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) that provide nutrition education to the parents and guardians of infants.

The handbook provides an overview of topics related to infant nutrition and feeding and answers some common questions on feeding infants.
The handbook can be used as a resource in disseminating appropriate and accurate information to participants as well as for planning individual counseling sessions, group classes, and staff in-service training sessions.
